The French American Book Fund was launched in 2006 to support
the translation and publication contemporary French or Francophone
works per year.
FRENCH
VOICES
French Voices, in partnership with the PEN American Center,
financially support the translation and publication of up to
ten contemporary French or Francophone works per year.
THE
TOURNÉES FESTIVAL Annual grant program designed to support
the screening of contemporary French cinema on American university
and college campuses.Two application deadlines:
June 3Oth & October 1st of any given year.
CINÉ
2000 "A la carte" grants for American
film schools to assist with departmental initiatives in the
field of French cinema.
ÉTANT
DONNÉS | Project Grant
Etant donnés: The French-American Fund for Contemporary
Art offers financial support in the form of grants to American
nonprofit institutions or to French nonprofit institutions. Application deadline: March 31st of any
given year.
ÉTANT
DONNÉS | Curatorial Research Grant
Etant donnés offers grants supporting the professional
development of American curators by offering them extended
stays in France for research projects. Application deadline: March 31st of any
given year.

Etant donnés: The French-American Fund for the Performing
Arts is dedicated to encouraging French-American cooperation
in theater in the United States and in France. Application deadline: February 1st of any given
year.
FUSED
| French U.S. Exchange in Dance
In 2004, NEFA/NDP created a partnership with the Cultural
Services of the French Embassy and FACE to create the French-U.S.
Exchange in Dance (FUSED). Application deadline: February 28, 2009.
CONTEMPORARY
MUSIC The French-American Fund
for Contemporary Music is dedicated to stimulating French-American
cooperation in contemporary music. Application deadline: March 1st 2009 of any
given year.
JAZZ The French-American Jazz Exchange was
created to foster collaborative projects that unite French
and American jazz artists. Application deadline: October 15, 2008.
DUAL
LANGUAGE PROGRAMS [DLP]
The French-English Dual-Language program is in keeping with
the French Embassy's efforts to offer students attending American
public schools the possibility to learn French.
FRENCH
HERITAGE LANGUAGE PROGRAM [FHLP] The French Heritage Language Program
helps Francophone immigrant students develop proficiency in
French, and seeks to contribute to scholarly research on Heritage
language learning in the United States, France as well as
other countries.
PARTNER
UNIVERSITY FUND[PUF]
PUF supports emerging transatlantic partnerships over a three
year period, subject to annual review by the selection committee. Next call for project: December 15, 2008.
FACE
- FRENCH AMERICAN CULTURAL EXCHANGE
- is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting
contemporary creative work in the context of French-American
cultural and educational exchange.
FACE, in partnership with the Cultural
Services of the French Embassy in
the United States, administers programs and projects
in music, theater, dance, cinema, education, and the
visual arts.
FUNDS
FOR LOUISIANA RECOVERY In the wake
of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, and given the longstanding
relationship between Louisiana and France, two funds
were created in October 2005 by the Cultural Services
of the French Embassy and its foundation partner FACE.
